I follow Kansas closely since I saw them with Queen in mid 70's. The absence of key members has takin it's toll. Now it appears one of my favorite drummers has thrown in the towel Phil Ehardt. They were magical in the early days. Legendary.

No No No. They've butchered such a great piece of music, long and adventurous, which here seems at best an ugly hodgy podgy pop song of the 70s. Then the fact they play the right notes doesn't mean they're playing that masterpiece. It hurts my ears. Please stop. The Ancient guitar solo is also a mess, slow and without deepness. Let aside the vocals. Please stop.

Their Close to the Edge 50th anniversary tour had sounded shit on youtube but their actual live performance turned out to be much better (at least to me) if not as good as one could expect. Hoping for the same with the Tales tour.

The part between 11:14 and 11:45 is one of the best progressive pieces I’ve ever heard, both by MB and Genesis.

Looking forward to Danny Carey playing the Bruford parts in Beat (instead of just his trademark Bruins B muscle shirt). He will have then played with his main band Tool of course and then a Genesis and King Crimson "cover" bands.

Love Haken's music. They are great studio musicians but their live performances are really boring. They stand like statues without interaction with the audience

Close your eyes and just listen to this cover. They're pretty good. The vocals and guitar instrumentation are easy to copy but I tip my hat to the keyboard player. Tony is not an easy act to mirror. Well done lads.

A lovely glimpse of your concert. Thank you for posting it. You had a good view. It looks as though Bruce and the band were in good form, showing more energy than last year, when we didn’t know that he was ill. He should have postponed earlier, but he hates to let his down. I enjoyed watching this excerpt and hope you enjoyed the rest of the concert which seems to have some new material in it from the other concerts so far- another indication that The Boss is back. Good to see.❤❤❤❤❤

It is no wonder Bruce likes to come to Europe. The fans over here will give him and the band a very warm, and noisy, welcome. Thanks for posting this part of your concert, Steve. I always prefer seeing a full or a solid section of a concert,, rather than individual songs. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I am s 65 year old man born and raised in north Philly a few in the 70s. And I saw a lot of the great rock bands. Saw Bruce,4 and LA looks like The people don't know what to do at a rock concert. Shit this song in Philadelphia the people are on their feet. Singing every word. Going nuts . These people have no idea what they are seeing. One of the greatest rock bands ever. And they are not going to be around much longer. Bruce Springsteen music will live forever. But you are at one of his shows. Act like it LA.

I have loved Kansas since cutting my teeth on them as a guitarist/keyboardist. But no matter how many singers Kansas finds who are able to 'hit the notes', no one has ever given me goose bumps except the great Steve Walsh.

Having just watched, the videos of this same line up performing in 2023, I have to wonder, why they are not performing with the same quality of sound, that is produced here in 2016 ? Is it a change in the technical equipment used in today’s live shows? It can’t be down to the fact, that they are 7 years older, surely…. Whatever the reason, compared to the sound of this performance, it is evident that they have deteriorated somewhat.

This was such on awesome show. I just wish it wasn't a seated event.

The show was awesome this tour but man I wish they would incorporate some guitar cabinets. The sound was just a little hollow and wish there was some more push in the guitar at times! Ross sounded absolutely amazing and the band is tighter than ever!

Mangini is so detailed and needs you to focus in between in the lines because he does those small details so well, of course some people dont pay attention to this they just want those predictable Portnoy's fills , Mangini was too advanced for them , he deserves to be with bands on Rush,King Crimson,Yes level
